From October 30 through November 2, head to Philly's Society Hill Playhouse for a celebration of all things noir -- literature, film, art, poetry, and more -- at Noir Con 2014. There will be panels, parties, and film screenings all weekend, an awards banquet, a trip to PhilaMOCA, and a Sunday visit to Port Richmond Books. Farley Books will be on site to sell books, and featured guests include Fuminori Nakamura, Bronwen Hruska, Joseph Samuel Starnes, William Lashner, Sigrid Sarda, Buffy Hastings, Jeff Wong, Duane Swierczynski, Megan Abbott, Eric Miles Williamson, and many more.
As an added bonus, noir expert and author Eddie Muller will be on hand for a special screening of The Prowler (1951) on Thursday at the International House.
